MEDICA
MEDICA est l’un des plus grands salons mondiaux de la technologie médicale, qui se tient à Düsseldorf, en Allemagne.
Ce projet présente la vidéo d’exposition réalisée pour OG Wellness, un fabricant d’équipements de physiothérapie et de soins basé à Okayama, au Japon.
Bien-être
En ouverture de la vidéo, nous citons le Préambule de la Constitution de l’OMS (Organisation mondiale de la santé) afin de réinterroger la définition fondamentale du « bien-être » et de la « santé ».
« La santé est un état de complet bien-être physique, mental et social, et ne consiste pas seulement en une absence de maladie ou d’infirmité. »
(Constitution de l’OMS, 1948)
Ortho Somatics
La vidéo se divise en trois chapitres, illustrant comment la philosophie d’entreprise ancrée dans la « médecine orientale » s’associe aux avancées de la « médecine occidentale » pour ouvrir la voie à une nouvelle innovation en matière de design :

Concept clé du premier chapitre, le terme inventé « Ortho Somatics » associe le grec « orthos » (signifiant droit, correct ou aligné) et « soma » (le corps conscient et sensible). Il incarne la vision de la santé portée par l’entreprise : être à l’écoute de ses sensations internes pour façonner, depuis l’intérieur, une posture idéale et équilibrée.
Danse et musique
Dans la vidéo, Bunpei Kunimoto — ami, ergothérapeute et danseur — exprime avec force et élégance l’univers d’« Ortho Somatics » à travers sa performance chorégraphique.
Une œuvre sublimée par la musique du compositeur Junichi Oguro, où la douceur des notes de piano s’harmonise avec l’énergie d’un électro-house novateur.

This project showcases an exhibition video for OG Wellness, a manufacturer of physical therapy equipment and care products based in Okayama, Japan.
Well-being
At the beginning of the video, we reference the WHO (World Health Organization) Constitution to re-examine the core definition of ‘well-being’ and ‘health.’
‘Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.’

Ortho Somatics
The video is divided into three chapters, presenting how the company’s foundational philosophy of Eastern medicine integrates with the cutting-edge practices of Western medicine to drive new design innovation:

The core concept of Chapter 1, ‘Ortho Somatics,’ is a coined term combining the Greek ‘orthos’ (meaning correct, straight, or proper) and ‘soma’ (referring to the conscious, living body). It represents the company’s vision of health—encouraging individuals to tune into their internal body awareness to naturally cultivate an ideal, aligned posture from within.
Dance and Music
In the video, friend, occupational therapist, and dancer Bunpei Kunimoto articulates the essence of ‘Ortho Somatics’ through a expressive and graceful dance performance.
The film is beautifully woven together by the music of composer Junichi Oguro—a harmonious blend of gentle piano melodies and innovative electro-house beats.

本プロジェクトは、岡山を拠点に物理療法機器や介護製品を展開するOGウェルネス（オージー技研）の展示映像です。
ウェルビーイング
映像の冒頭では、WHO（世界保健機関）憲章を引用し、「ウェルビーイング」および「健康」の本質的な定義を改めて提示しています。
「健康とは、病気でないとか弱っていないということではなく、肉体的にも、精神的にも、そして社会的にもすべてが満たされた状態にあることをいいます。」1948年 WHO憲章より
オルソ・ソマティックス
同社の哲学の基盤である「東洋医学」が、最先端の「西洋医学」と融合し、新たなデザインイノベーションを目指す姿を以下の3つの章で構成しました。

第1章の核となる「Ortho Somatics（オルソ・ソマティックス）」は、「正しい・整った」を意味するギリシャ語 orthos と「意識や感覚を持つ身体」を意味する soma を組み合わせたコンセプトです。身体の内なる感覚に意識を向け、理想的で正しい姿勢を自ら形作っていく——それこそが、同社の目指す「健康」のかたちです。
ダンスと音楽
映像内では、作業療法士でありダンサーでもある友人の國本文平氏によるしなやかなダンスを通して、この「Ortho Somatics」の世界観を力強く、雄弁に表現しています。
作曲家・大黒淳一による優しいピアノの音色と、斬新なエレクトロ・ハウスの融合。その美しい音楽がフィルム全体を鮮やかに織りなします。
